[GAP Forum] Problem installing GAP 4.8.10 on MAC OSX

Dear Forum,

I have been facing a strange problem while trying to install GAP 4.8.10 on
OSX High Sierra. After typing *./configure* command from the folder
location, I get the following error:

Kashyaps-Mac-Pro:gap4r8 kashyaprajeevsarathy$ ./configure

./configure: line 470: sed: command not found

./configure: line 469: expr: command not found

./configure: line 470: sed: command not found

./configure: line 484: sed: command not found

: error: cannot create .lineno; rerun with a POSIX shell

I would be great if you could help deal with this issue.
