Dear Bill,


I hope you could see that my reply was ironical. It is funny to see how 
relatively simple tasks require complicated computer programs.
I realised that this was  not about  just "any" file with integers while 
writing my post.

If Alexander had simply written a function to read a file with integers,
it would have been much less useful to Aasma. Instead the program
returns a list of lists of integers, which is much more useful.

That what computer are for, are they not ?
