[GAP Forum] Strange GAP, I

Dear Forum,

This command hangs GAP:

Indeterminate(Ring(Sqrt(2)));
-----------------------------

So does this one:

-------------------
One(Ring(Sqrt(2)));
-------------------

Could there be the same underlying reason / bug  ?

This one, although being rather weird, works fine:

-------------------------
One(Zero(Ring(Sqrt(2))));
-------------------------
