Dear Forum:

I am attempting to use the "nq"package as part of
  GAP, Version 4.6.2 of 02-Feb-2013under Linux.

It is installed in directory /usr/local/gap/pkg/nq-2.2

The package is compiled and the executable is available.
forder% dir bin/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu-gcc/nq

But RequirePackage ("nq") fails.

The following seems to be the culprit.

gap>     path := DirectoriesPackagePrograms( "nq" );
[
dir("/usr/local/gap4r6/pkg/nq-2.4/bin/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu-gcc-default64\
/") ]

Why nq-2.4? The directory is nq-2.2?

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks.
Eamonn
