[GAP Forum] problem with Stabilizer

Dear GAP Forum,

On Fri, 02 Jul 2004 14:19:22 +0800, "Michael Hartley"
<Michael.Hartley at nottingham.edu.my> reported a problem with these commands:

> grp := AlternatingGroup(7);
> aut := AutomorphismGroup(grp);
> stb := Stabilizer(aut,(3,4)(5,6));

These appear to work correctly in GAP 4.4.3, to which we would urge him (and
everyone else) to upgrade.
